Jaxon Tarnowski '26 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jaxon Tarnowski and I am a right defence.  This year, I am playing U18 Tier 2 with AMHA Hawks, and I am the AP defenceman for the Tier 1 team, in Abbotsford, B.C.  My strengths include great hockey IQ, great edge work, and I have a hard shot.  My goal for this year is to get even better at creating time and space in sticky situations so that I always make the right pass when there is pressure.  I am an encouraging teammate and quiet leader on my team.  

When I am not on the ice, I enjoy mountain biking, downhill skiing, and being outside in nature.  I enjoy travelling with my family and exploring different countries and cultures.

I am a hard worker and dedicated athlete who enjoys working out and getting extra development in my spare time.  I am a good student who excels in math and sciences. My goal is to play Junior A hockey and then get a scholarship to play Division One college hockey.  I am hoping to take sciences in college and eventually be trained to be a plastic surgeon.  I know that I will need to continue to work hard both physically and mentally in order to achieve these goals.
