My key attribute as a hockey player is my effort and drive to be the best version of myself. I play a physical and consistent game, a hardworking 2-way player who is an offensive threat and an effective forechecker. I also support my team in the D-zone and know my responsibilities. I find myself successful both on penalty kill and power play, bringing positive energy that encourages myself as a player and my teammates. I am a coachable player that loves to learn about the game and in my opinion this attribute has brought me success with past coaching staffs. A team environment means everything to me as I am very team-oriented, by always looking to set up a play or support my teammates. I get along really well with all of my teammates because of my positive attitude and ability to own up to and fix mistakes when I make them knowing that hockey is a game of mistakes. On the student side of being a student-athlete I take pride in my academics,Staying up to date with all assignments and studying for tests is important. My peers and teachers around me at Penticton Secondary have expressed that I am a bright, mature and determined person and student.
