Cade Schiefelbein '19 Recruiting Profile

I've wanted to be a collegiate hockey player ever since I started playing hockey at age 9 and that same desire motivates me everyday to continue pushing towards that. My game is unique in the fact that I am a big kid who’s not afraid to get in corners and battle as well as being a fast skater and skilled player offensively. I have also been the captain of both my previous team as well as my current team at Tahoe Hockey Academy . I think what separates me the most is my work ethic in both athletics and the classroom, in my 4 years of high school I've always maintained above a 3.3 GPA. I’ve had to overcome a lot of  obstacles on my journey because I started fairly late and I'll be the first to admit I was not as good as other kids my age so I had to work twice as hard to compete. This instilled a competitiveness in me that is unmatched. You will not meet someone who works harder than me I promise.
