It has been a lifelong dream of mine to play hockey while attending college. My family has instilled in me a belief that education is an ongoing process, and achieving a college degree is one step towards ensuring personal future success. I take pride in my accomplishments both on and off the ice while recognizing there's always opportunity for improvement.
Although education has been a top priority during my formative years, I've also invested significant time developing and refining my hockey play into a highly physical game. Coaches have commended me not only for being a coachable player who instinctively knows where the puck will be at all times but also for being a player who demonstrates compassion and caring for his teammates. I have historically played both offense and defense although right wing is my favorite position and is where I believe I can make the most valuable contributions to my team. My strength is being around the net where I take up space, make it hard on the goalie, and demonstrate my physical presence so I can score, get a deflection, or find an open teammate. I'm a big target and easy for teammates to find on breakaways.
