I've been playing hockey for 13 years, ever since I was allowed to put on skates at 3 years old. My goal is to go to a college that will not only push me academically, but also allow me to play hockey at the highest level of my ability.
On top of challenging myself in hockey, I aspire to become a surgeon. In school, I earn straight A's in all honors/Cambridge classes which are the highest available for my class (2025). I will be starting dual enrollment in a local college starting next year where I go back and forth between my high school and the college since I will have my high school requirements fulfilled by the end of the school year.
At the school I attend, I am a member of the Tarpon Spring Leadership Conservatory of the Arts. I made the top band in the program as a trombonist too. We are nationally ranked program that teaches leadership through music. The leadership lessons that I've learned have transferred to my game in hockey and have added elements to my game as a leader and as a player. I lead by example in my game play and I'm continuously working on my verbal influence too so I can grow as a teammate and a leader.
