I hope to obtain my college degree from a prestigious university that has division 1 hockey. I want to continue to play hockey and also get a good education. I work very hard both in the classroom and in the gym. I have a very high standard for myself in school because education is very important to me. I have a 4.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale and will not accept anything less. On days that I don't have hockey practice, I workout to improve my game by doing strength workouts, yoga, conditioning, and agility. I think it is just as important to spend time in the workout room as on the ice. I have a superior hockey sense and see the ice better and quicker than most of my peers. I am an unselfish player that cares more about my team's success than my own. Personally, I am a caring and compassionate individual who cares about the success of peers in the classroom and my teammates . I am a good listener, take feedback constructively, and work on improving my game. My coaches have always told me that I am "coachable" and trust me to make good decisions in a tight game.
