Personal Statement

I have been playing hockey ever since I was four. I moved to Indiana when I was young and within two weeks, one of the neighbors asked if I wanted to go to a game. Ever since I have laid eyes on the game of hockey, I have LOVED it. Ever since that day, I have been playing the sport of hockey.

I've always dreamt of being able to play hockey at the college level and I'm willing to do whatever it takes to make that dream come true. I'm one of the hardest working athletes you will meet. I push myself on the ice to improve my gameplay as well as off-ice by doing workouts to get stronger. One thing that I think sets me apart from the other hockey athelete's out there is I'm very coachable. You won't find me not taking the advice and trying to integrate it into my game to make myself and the team better.

In the classroom, I study very hard to do my absolute best and to excel in school. It pays off with the GPA. When I'm not on the ice working hard or at school, I work at the University of Notre Dame at the Compton and I recently got a summer job working in a factory. I'm very hardworking to accomplish all these different tasks.

On the ice, Its my goal to do my absolute best and to push the other teammates to do their best so it makes the team the best it can be. I consider myself a team leader because I try to be a role model and give the younger players advice to help improve there game as well as take the advice thats given to me.

I want to attend a college where I can push myself to be the very best in the classroom and on the ice. I am open to all opition's to ensure I find the best match and right fit for me not only for school, but also at the highest level of hockey competition possible. I strive to be a great role model for my peers and to make my parents proud.

I recently got done playing my first year of Junior Hockey with the Kalkaska Rhinos in Kalkaska, Michigan and I'm going up there again this upcoming season. Ive been working my butt off and will continue to do so till i reach my dreams and once I do i will keep working hard. You can check out the games and all the training the team and I did at www.kalkaskarhinos.com
