Aayan Chowdhury '25 Recruiting Profile

Dear Prospective coach,

My name is Aayan Chowdhury, I am a 10th grade student at École Salish Secondary in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada. I have been playing ice hockey since I was 7 years old. Hockey has been a big part of my life and for my family as my twin sister also plays ice hockey as a goalie. 

I aspire to play at a university level to take my hockey, as well as my education to the next level. Playing at a university level is an opportunity to open up paths for my career and future. On the ice, I see myself as a determined and focused student athlete that strives to improve both on and off the ice.  As a player, I see my on ice vision as one of my greatest strengths. I primarily play left wing which gives me the best opportunity to utilize my speed and vision to create scoring opportunities.

For me, academics is of utmost importance. In the classroom, I am focused on maintaining good grades. Through grades 8 and 9, I have achieved an average of A in all subjects.
