Joe Lech '17 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing hockey since I was 6 years old. Both my father and grandfather attended Division 1 hockey programs and my grandfather won an NCAA championship in 1963.  College hockey and a university degree have been part of my life from an early age.

I am a team leader and try to lead by example while also encouraging my teammates. I am very coachable and strive to be one of the hardest working players and one of the hardest working recruits you’ll find.

I study hard in class and maintain a strong average in a difficult bilingual educational program. I volunteer at youth hockey camps and tournaments. 

I would be most interested in finding a college or university that is an excellent match for both my academic and athletic aspirations. I have narrowed the options but I am very open to considering all opportunities that might present themselves. I have ambitions to make a difference athletically and academically. Whichever program I am fortunate enough to attend will help me to build a strong network and give me a positive start to whichever career path I take.
