Personal Statement

I am an 18 year-old, 6 foot 5, full right catch goalie who played two seasons Major Junior with the Gatineau Olympiques of the QMJHL.  I received the Academic Player Award the same month I got my first shutout.  My rookie season I played 33 games. I am now playing Junior A with the Navan Grads of the CCHL where I am earning a .917 save percentage.

I was named the top Rookie Goalie Prospect by the EHLP in 2022. I was nominated for the Top Goalie of the year in the CSSHL awards in 2021.

I work as hard off the ice as I do on it being named to the honour roll every year of high school.

I love playing hockey and my goal is to play professionally. My coaches describe me as an athletic, focused Southpaw goalie who loves to win and contribute positively to my team.  I have been extremely lucky to train with some of the best coaches Ben Desrosiers (NJ Devils); Andrew Mercer (Ottawa 67s), JP Charbonneau (Gatineau Olympiques); Glenn Merkosky (former NJ Devil) and former Winnipeg Jet Goalie and current Pilot Mound Goalie Coach Gordie Tumilson.

My family adviser Peter MacTavish of Quartexxx Management

As a minor hockey player I was drafted to the Navan Grads Junior A Hockey Club.  I was selected as one of the best goalies in the Ottawa to represent Ottawa District at the 2021 Draftday All-Star OHL Prospects Showcase.  We beat some of the best players across Canada and the US and I was selected to play in the championship finals.

I am extremely proud of my time as goalie for the Ottawa Myers Snipers spring team and our accomplishments like winning the Montreal Meltdown, North American Prospects Showcase (Buffalo 2019); Montreal CCM Elite Invitational U16 (2020); and the Quebec Bulldogs AAA Tournament U14 (2019).

At these tournaments and during the regular season I have also been awarded the most valuable player or won skills competitions for best goalie.  In 2019 I was awarded the Adam Harlow Trophy Top Goaltender Awarded at the 20th Annual Bell Capital Cup AAA Tournament (2019); best goalie at the Bell Capital Cup World Invitational Tournament (2017); MVP Big Nickel Tournament Best Goalie (2018); First star of the Bell Capital Cup World Invitational championship game (2016).

Thanks for reading my profile and I look forward to talking to you about your program.
