After playing one year of Junior A hockey with the Humboldt Broncos of the SJHL, I was traded to the Melfort Mustangs in October 2016.  It is my goal over this last Junior season to be scouted and play Men's Hockey in the NCAA or CIS, to receive a scholarship, and continue on with my hockey career if possible. During my time at college/university I plan to attain either a Kinesiology degree and/or an Education degree which would allow me to pursue a successful career as a Paramedic or Fire Fighter off the ice.  

What sets me apart from other recruits is my keen hockey sense and ability to see the ice to set up plays.  I am also an excellent team player and attribute this to my dedication, commitment, and strong work ethic.  I take on leadership opportunities when they arise and my actions on and off the ice are what make me a character player.  I train extremely hard throughout the off-season and I have been very dedicated to every team I have played on, never missing a practice or game.

Academically I have been a strong student throughout my education, being on the Honor Roll every year.  My academic average in Grade 10 was 86% and in Grade 11, it was 89%.  I achieved my academic goal of an 85% average in Grade 12.
