Scott Rodrigue '22 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to be able to successfully go through college and possibly be able to go pro. I would make a good candidate for any team because I believe I am great in character, athletics and academics. I can be a great leader for any team and I can perform on the ice and at school.

I got into hockey at an early age through watching games on television and my dad teaching me as he also played hockey. I decided to be a goalie because my favourtie player growing up was Carey Price. He majorly influenced me after I watched him in his 2015 season where he had one of the best seasons for a goalie in history. He is my inspiration and who I want to be like on and off the ice. 

Overall, I have learnt a lot through playing hockey at an elite level for so many years. In my early years, I learnt every team needs a leader. This is why I strive to be a leader on and off the ice as much as I can. In my later years, I have learnt more about the mental side of being a goalie and how it can majorly affect your performance.
