Tyson Underhill '14 Recruiting Profile

I believe I would be a great candidate for any team, because I'm a hard worker on and off the ice. I bring hard work, determination,dedication and leadership  to every team I play for.Hockey is my passion on and off the ice.Team work is essential to building any strong team and I believe I am a good team player . Playing as the starter tender for team Alberta and Canada in Anaheim meant the team and coach has put a lot of confidence in my abilities. The opportunity was amazing and the game changing saves I made in the last few minutes of the game  allowed us to win gold medal.We also won a  silver medal during these 20 days in Anaheim.These memories will stay with me forever. It was not just one specific person or one highlight reel  save or goal but, rather a  huge team effort by all eighteen players.  I believe the effort you put into academics strongly determines what type of player you are on and off the ice. One must put 100 percent  effort behind their academics and for any passion they have in life. I believe as a goalie we see the game the best and with my strong leadership I can bring that to the team to not only make the team better but let me have a important role on the team and help to make a strong connection to the team. I love to work hard on and off the ice. The harder you work during dry land training and practices the better you you become during game time when it matters.
