Julian Kalvans Syversen '24 Recruiting Profile

Playing college hockey has been my dream since I started playing hockey. Besides hockey, the most important things in my life are my family, friends and my academics. I want to play hockey at the college level as my passion for the game is ever-increasing, and I wish to play the sport I love while furthering my education. I attend wang toppidrett, located in Oslo Norway, ON, where I am currently achieving a 3.4 GPA. Currently, I play for Vålerenga U20 AAA, where i achieved 9 G and 19 A in 22 games .  Last year with the U20 team, I achieved 1g, 3A, 2PIM,  in 5games and serving as a co-captain. Last year i played u18 aaa where i achieved 15 pts in 7 games before getting injured. Next year, I plan to play Junior hockey in a top league. In my team, I am known as a team-first two-way forward,with my defensive game emulating Patrice Bergeron. But i can also adjust my game to become a pure offensive winger with good passing and score goals. My biggest strengths are my on-ice vision, playmaking ability, and work ethic. I am a very competitive person, and I hate to lose. I would fit right in at the collegiate level in the future.
