Maxi Forsberg '28 Recruiting Profile

As a young hockey player with dreams of competing at the top level of college hockey, I am constantly pushing myself to improve and evolve both on and off the ice. My ultimate goal is to compete in a collegiate program where I can continue to grow as a player and contribute to a winning culture.

What sets me apart as a candidate for your team is my versatility and tenacity. I excel as a puck carrier, using my strength and vision to control play in high-pressure situations. My shot is one of my strongest assets, making me a constant scoring threat. However, my true value lies in my ability to fight for every puck and every play with a team-first mentality. I play for the SDE U16 and J18 teams, regularly competing against older players and adjusting to different roles. This flexibility, along with my drive to win every battle, defines my playing style.

Off the ice, I am a dedicated student at Viktor Rydberg Samskola, where I find academic success in subjects like math, physics, chemistry, and languages. I approach my studies with the same focus and determination as hockey, making it easy for me to balance both worlds. This academic discipline, combined with my athletic work ethic, will allow me to thrive in a college setting.
