Ryan Olson '21 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Ryan Olson. Some of my hobbies include photography, making and editing video, along with spending time with my friends and family. Although, I enjoy most sports, my favorite is hockey. I've been playing travel hockey since I was 8 years old. Currently, I'm in my Freshman year at DeMatha Catholic High School. My focus during my high school years is to work hard on my academics, as well as, on and off the ice. 

As a freshman I led my team in goals, and assists. Additionally, I made First Team All Conference, and received the honor of being selected MVP. My coaches say that I have a high hockey IQ and I'm very coachable. Although, I love playing center as my main position, many times my coaches use me at defense when needed because of my skating ability. 

Finally, my goal is to play collegiate hockey at the highest level possible!
