I feel like I would be a good candidate for your team for a variety of reasons. To start, for my club team I have been captain two times over the years, and I have been a great role model, leading the team on and off the ice. I'm a very respectful, responsible, kind, and very open minded person. On the ice, I always work 100%. I think of myself as the shadow of the all star. As a defenseman, my main goal is blocking shots, closing the gap, and making sure I am always between the puck and the net. Yes, I can shoot, stick handle, Rush the puck up, etc. but my strength is in my defense. Academic wise, I am a very smart and skilled student. I currently have a 4.0 gpa with all honor classes (no ap yet because I am a freshman) These are just a few of the many reasons why I feel like I am a great candidate for your team.
