Evan Smith '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Evan Smith, and I am 19 years old. I have been playing hockey since I was 6 years old. Currently, I am playing in Boston for the Boston Junior Rangers EHLP team. My life goal is to play in the NHL, like everyone who plays junior hockey. My effort on and off the ice makes me different from the other players. On the ice during practice, every drill is a game-like situation. Every time I'm on the ice, I strive to improve myself and my teammates.  Of the ice, I'm very strong in the classroom as well. Academics have always been a strong passion of mine. I believe that academics come before being an athlete. I take my academics very seriously and strive to always do my best whether it's homework or a Mid-term, I want the highest score possible. This translates to my on-ice performance, being the team with the highest score at the end of the game.
