2020 HighlightsTeammates have often told me that I’ve got ‘Nasty Hands’. I credit this skill, in part, to 6 years of dek hockey, which I compete in at the international level, and to the fact that I ‘always’ have a stick in my hands. I’ve been skating since I was 4 – I’ve got excellent foot speed and am solid on my skates. My strength and conditioning regimen has improved this past year; today, I bench 270 lbs. (and squat 350 lbs.) and this training has translated to improvement in my shot. My self-ascribed greatest hockey strength is my ability to see and control the game and know where all my teammates will be in advance. I am an unselfish player and a caring teammate.
My next big goal is to play competitive college hockey at a school where I will pursue a major in business and a minor in math. My senior year GPA is 3.66. Academics are first to me; I will be even more successful in the classroom and life than on the ice. If you are looking for that final player to complete your team, take a chance on me – I will work hard for you and make your already great team perform better!
Gratitude is the most important human emotion! I have it in abundance for the sport, the opportunities I’ve had, my family, teammates/friends and coaches, and the fantastic hockey community.
