Ryan McKeown '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Ryan McKeown, and I believe that the trait that sets me apart from the pack is my work ethic. I picked up on hockey at a much later age than most at 12, and didn’t play until I was 13, and while some may see that as a negative trait, my goal is to prove them totally wrong. I feel like I can fit in with any crowd, and find a way to learn from them to the best of my ability. My teammates often describe me as a grinder, and a “chip and chase” player, and while that doesn’t limit me to only that type of play, I do prefer to use my speed as my main threat. I love this sport more than anything and would give anything to continue to play it after I finish highschool.
