My name is Joey Guarino. I live in Malden, Ma. and I was born on December 6th, 1997. I am 17 years of age as of right now and I am a Junior in High School at Malden Catholic. I attended Arlington Catholic High School as a freshman and I played all levels of hockey (Varsity). I played for the Northern Jr Cyclones which is Tier 1 Elite Hockey last year in the fall and played in the New England fall Prep This year to start off the season. I feel that NCSA will help expose myself and get my name out there to get college coaches to know who I am and what I can do. It is my dream to play college hockey for both myself and my parents. I believe that if I keep up my hard work both on the Ice and in the Class Room, I will have a good chance to pursue my dream. I am an extremely committed athlete who trains 6 days a week and is on the ice mostly everyday. I would say that my best features on the ice would be my speed, quickness, Puck control and the way I position and battle in the corners. Some coaches would say I can put the puck in the net and others could say I'm more of a play maker. Another attribute I can say I have is my hard work and my mom. I have no politics what-so ever. All I have is my mom who would take me around the world for hockey and all my hard work. When someone tells me I cannot do something, I will work 100 times harder to do it better than them. I believe that I would be a great fit and make a great impact on any team I play on because of my features.
