My name is Chris Lerner and for the 2023-2024 season, I will be playing Tier III Junior Hockey for the Express Hockey Club in the EHL. Last season, I played with the New Hampshire Jr Monarchs USPHL Premier Team. I am a strong skating two-way center who understands the art and science involved in gaining puck possession off the face-off. As a top six forward, I have great vision on the ice and recognize how to create scoring opportunities. The strength of my character is shown through my team first mentality, which is evident in my uplifting attitude and in the way I approach shift lengths and look for play making opportunities.
As a student athlete, I understand academics come first and I take immense pride in my integrity, work ethic, and grades. In my high school career, I took numerous honors classes as well as six AP classes including two AP Spanish courses. I graduated with a 4.46 weighted GPA. Although I have not yet decided what my college major will be, I know that my studies will include a strong concentration in Spanish. Other potential areas of interest for me include communications, journalism, and broadcasting. I am open to a college of any size or location that can offer me rigorous academics and a chance to play NCAA hockey.
