Anthony Crescenzo '25 Recruiting Profile

    Hi my name is Anthony Crescenzo but I go by my middle name Rocco.  I love the sport of hockey as it is my passion.  I am 18 years old.  l just graduated from Salem HIgh School. I have been playing hockey since 2013.

++++Update-2025/26 season I will be playing with the USPHL Premier Islanders Hockey Club++++ I plan on concentrating on bulking up, strength and fine tuning things. This will be my push year to launch into Juniors. I am looking forward to this season with Coach Jay Pinsky and my teammates. I had a very interesting summer, I attended multiple showcases and tryouts with various teams for NCDC and NAHL. The tryouts were great and challenging. The feedback from coaches were all positive. I showed my offensive as well as my defensive abilities and coaches felt that I can see the ice very well. They all thought that I needed 1 more year and then I should be ready for the 2026/27 season. Various teams will be following me this year for the 26/27 season. I plan on doing what it takes to meet the challenges and goals I have set.

  My Senior hockey season was with the NH Mountain Kings U18 Academy, My Number is #89.  I took on a new position with the Mt. Kings. Though I have been a defense man 98% of the time, they had me playing starting center. Looks like playing spring/summer center has paid off. I worked hard this season, learning to be a center and continued to improve my skills as I work to get into Juniors. My stats at the end of the season were 14 goals/22 assists, rating of +14 with a team record of 37-19-6.  I enjoyed playing for the NH Mt. Kings and being given the opportunity to spend a season learning a new position.  I feel that I am a well rounded hockey player that can play every position except goalie. According to my coach I am a play maker on the ice.  

Along with all the showcases and tryouts this summer I worked at AC landscaping as that is a great physical workout and when the season starts I will go back to Ralphies for my 3rd year bussing and running food to the tabels and bar. 

 This past season 24/25 with the  NH Mountain Kings Academy I improved my skills and my commitment to hockey. I really can see myself continuing down this road thru juniors and to college hockey over the next 4 years!  I look forward to what is ahead of me as I work to obtain my goals.

I have been told that I am very coach- able and I consider that a great strength.  I attribute that to my karate training I started when I was 4 and continued to the age of 11 when I received my black belt. I am a strong skater, quick thinker and know how to make and set up plays.  I feel I am  a good teammate, add value to my teams and lead by example.
