Isaac Bunk '24 Recruiting Profile

On the ice and in the locker room, I am an extremely hard worker. I take pride in being a defensive defenseman who can lock down the best players on the opposing team. My strengths include my speed, a powerful shot, my hockey IQ, and my ability to lead. I am also well versed in my weaker points, including puck protection and forcing plays that aren't there. Working hard to strengthen both my weaker and stronger points is something I constantly strive for. Being an example to my teammates is also an important role I take pride in. I've been an official captain or alternate captain for five years on two different teams, but even before then I made it a priority to be the guy everyone can count on. Though it has sometimes been difficult to deny offers from AAA teams due to our family's finances and time being stretched thin (I have 3 siblings in sports and 2 brothers in travel hockey), I regret nothing and take advantage of every opportunity to continue to grow and be the best that I can wherever I am.
