Tate Potteiger '20 Recruiting Profile

Currently, I am playing for the Detroit Metro Jets in the USPHL.  For  the previous three years, I played in the Michigan Developmental Hockey  League (MDHL) and for East Grand Rapids High School.  I grew up in a hockey town and learned to love hockey from a very small age. I have always been a student of the game and participated in optional practices and team workouts whenever I could make them happen. I love challenging myself and playing at the highest level of hockey possible for me. I always try to play as much hockey as possible because I know that working on even the small things can make me a better player and person. I am a hard worker in the rink and outside of it. I participated in West Michigan Special Hockey which helps kids with mental and physical disabilities play hockey and make friends. I have been doing this for 5 years. I took challenging courses at my high school to prepare myself academically. I would love to take my hockey skills to the next level and perform at my best all of the time. I am willing to put the work in on and off the ice to make my dreams become a reality.
