Trent Mercer '24 Recruiting Profile

I would like to introduce myself. My name is Trent Mercer. I have been playing hockey since I have been 4 years old. I am currently playing for the Palm Beach typhoon in the USPHL. I started on premier's team but unfortunately I was the 3rd goalie so I moved down to elite in order to get more playing time. I played for the Lake Orion Dragons before the typhoon. The Dragons are a high school varsity hockey team located in Lake Orion, Michigan. I have been honored to play for the Dragons for the past 3 years. 

My goal is to continue to play high level Junior and college hockey with the hopes to make it in a professional hockey league. I consider myself unique, because when a goal is scored, I am able to look past it. I am able to continue with my focus throughout the game. My determination is what defines me most. I have had the opportunity to skate for great coaches that have fostered my love for the game.
