Austin Bryant '25 Recruiting Profile

I would love to play hockey at the college level and I am definitely willing to put in all the work needed to get there. Currently I continue to work on my skills on and off the ice as much as I can. I also work with a power skating coach to help improve all parts of my game. I know I have way more to learn to get better as a player, but I love to learn and I am up for the challenge. I am a 200 foot player and it is definitely as important to stop a puck from getting to my goalie as it is for me to score goals and get assists. I would say a strong part of my game on PK is blocking shots. I would say strong part of my game on PP is in tight on goal tipping, and getting gritty goals. I am also a very "hockey smart" player, I am always told I see the ice well. I always know what’s coming towards me, and going on around me. I am always looking for the play I have to make next with the puck before it’s on my tape. I love the game, and love working with my teammates because it is important to me. I love being a leader (in more ways then some might notice). As long as I know how I treat and respect my teammates and other people in general, that is all that matters, because kindness and fun are two main/big things in life. I love meeting new people and I always want to be a very welcoming well respected person in life, so I strive to treat others with all my respect.  I would do anything for my teammates, family, friends etc…!! Currently I have a great coach who is teaching us so much about the game!! Off ice I do my school of course but I love to go workout with my buddies and skate every time I get too. I currently have a 4.0 GPA and doing very well in school. I also love to hunt and fish with family and of course a little gaming with friends.
