Evan Bretz '26 Recruiting Profile

I love the game of hockey and my goal is to play hockey at the college level.  My coaches describe me as one of the hardest working guys on the ice, extremely coachable, and willing to do whatever it takes to help the team win.  I work hard both on and off the ice to improve my hockey skills and IQ through workouts, dryland training, and on-ice skill development.  I believe these things will make me a valuable member of a college hockey team.

I am entering my senior year in Eden Prairie High School, playing my sophomore and junior year with the high school team while maintaining a 3.925 grade point average (out of 4.0). My favorite classes were Introduction to Business and Honors Algebra AA. 

Outside of hockey, I am in my third year participating with the Young Men's Service League (YMSL-Eden Prairie), a community volunteer service organization, and continue to work on my golf game!!

In the future, I can see myself getting a college degree in math, business or marketing - probably having to do with sports.  In addition to playing college hockey, I am hoping to attend a college with a good academic reputation and a wide selection of majors.
