I’ve been on the ice and skating since I was a year old. I’ve been playing hockey from five years old and have the aspiration to play at the collegiate level. My love for hockey has definitely grown over the years and continues to do so. One of my dreams would be fulfilled if I had the opportunity to play at the highest collegiate level.
What makes me a good candidate for collegiate team? I feel that the most important thing that I can bring to the collegiate team is that I am a team player. I am motivated to help my team succeed and will do anything possible. I am an all-around good player and strive everyday to accomplish these goals. I’ve been told that I am a very "coachable" hockey player and always listen to my coaches no matter what level I have played at. I am respected by my teammates for my work ethics and attitude, on and off the ice.
I am very motivated in school and study hard to maintain a high GPA. Throughout my whole life, I have taken pride in keeping my grades up in school, as I know that academics are very important to achieve my goals. I also volunteer my time with the local youth hockey teams to help with on ice coaching.
I want to attend a college where I can push myself on and off the ice as well as in the classroom. I am open to all opportunities and levels. I feel that it is important to find the right college which will allow me to play at the highest level of competition possible. I hope to become a role model to all, make my parents proud, and give back to the community.
