Jack Moretine '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello,

My name is Jack Moretine and I started playing hockey when I was 7 years old. I developed my game in California through stick times, video analyses, skating lessons, practices and games. Although I know developing my skills is important, I also know that equally important is the ability to lead a team. I was named captain twice, and assistant captain twice, to help in leading my teams on and off the ice. To further develop my leadership role, on my off days, I used to help my skating coach in teaching young athletes to develop their game.

At age 14, I moved to Minnesota to further my hockey development. I have attended several Maple Grove Senior High School Training Camps and currently play for the Maple Grove Senior High Varsity team.

Lastly, I take my academics seriously and I maintain a 3.5 GPA.  I know the importance of balancing academics and athletics.  I am excited as I continue to develop my game to prepare me for hockey at the collegiate level.
