Personal Statement
My name is Tuli Eisenbeis and I am working hard to play Junior A and Division 1 college hockey. I am committed to both hockey and academics.
This year, I am a forward on the Wenatchee Wolves U18 - tier 1 AAA team, and an Affiliate Player (AP) on the Wenatchee Wolves of the BCHL. My plus-minus is +25 and I am averaging 1.5 points per game. Last season, as a senior at Minneapolis Southwest High School, I was captain of our varsity hockey team.
I am a two-way forward and a play-maker. I take pride in being an all-around skater capable of defense, offense, and special teams. My main assets are my skating speed and skill, my quick and creative hands, and my vision of the ice. The areas where I am working hard to improve include my shot release and finishing skills, aggression at the net, and winning puck battles in the corners.
With my speed, I create chaos on the backcheck and the forecheck, and I draw a lot of penalties on zone entries. I strive to try my hardest no matter what the situation is.
Some excellent players I have skated with or against include Jake Hale (NAHL-UMD), Grant Silianof (USNTDP, USHL, Notre Dame), Killian Kiecker-Olson (NAPHL), Nik Norman (Shattuck), Drew Helleson (USNTDP) , Judd Caulfield (USNTDP), Garret Pienomini (MNHSL-Minnesota) and many others.
I played for one season on the Minnesota Machine 01’s, and I played for the past two years in Minnesota Hockey’s Tier 1 CCM HP program in the fall. In 2015, my Bantam AA team won the championship of the Bauer International Invite (Nexus division) in Chicago.
In school my favorite subjects are English and History, where I have taken AP and Honors levels courses. I struggle a little with theoretical math courses, but I enjoy chemistry and physics. I hope to study business and/or sports management in college. I also enjoy art and design coursework.
