I am a 5'9", 155lb Sophomore at Hill Murray HS is Maplewood, MN. For the most part I have played Center, but recently have decided to play some Wing as well. At a recent HS Elite Camp we received the following advice..."College coaches want well rounded players, ones that can play a different position, if needed. My best attributes as a hockey player are being coachable, flexible and being a great team player. I transferred to HM last year to enhance both my educational experience and the level of hockey I hope to play. I currently hold a 3.2 GPA and will be working vigilantly over the next 3 years to improve that number. I am proud to call Farmington, MN my hometown. I started playing hockey when I was 4 years old, following in my older brother and sisters footsteps. Playing with my older siblings and their friends has definitely helped create the player that I am today. Most of my youth career was spent at Minnesota Made in Edina, MN. I played both in their Choice League as well as on their Team Minnesota which represented well in the Quebec PW Tourney '16. My current goal is to make the Hill Murray Varsity team in November. It was an honor and I was very proud to have played on the HM JV team last year as a Freshman, but through my hard work and dedication in the offseason, I feel that I have put myself in a very good position to achieve this goal. Just as most youth MN hockey players, my ultimate goal is to play in the Minnesota State HS Tournament some day. I watched my brother play in it and look forward to my turn. My other interests include hunting and fishing. When I am not on the ice in the summer/winter, you will find me on one of Minnesota's 10,000 lakes catching fish. My future definitely includes a college education. I hope to find the right fit that will include my interest in Criminal Justice, my dream to play college hockey and my desire to be a well rounded individual.
