Carter Wagner '27 Recruiting Profile

Hey coaches, I am Carter Wagner and I have aspirations to make it to D1 and play beyond high school. I take schooling just as serious as hockey and I would be just as happy with a academics scholarship as a i would with a athletics scholarship. I use everything I learn in sports to help me with life skills I feel it is better to use sports as a tool because not everyone can make it all the way. The skills I have learned from hockey have been leadership, grit, teamwork, and speaking skills for sure. I use my tool hockey everyday at school and daily life. I have always dreamed of playing college hockey but now I know how hard that can be so I will put all of my effort on making it to that place. I want this path to make me a better person and a smarter person. You can learn so much through struggle and I think that is most important on my path to college hockey and I am ready for it.
