I have been playing hockey since I was about 4 years old. My first year of hockey I broke my leg and couldn't play for 6 weeks. My doctor told me to not skate for another month after my recovery. I was on the ice 5 days after I got my castoff. Since then I have dedicated myself to becoming the best player I can. Playing college hockey has been a dream of mine ever since I was little.
I am a great leader on and off the ice. My coaches can see my dedication and me giving 100 percent every time. I'm a good puck handler and can both distribute the puck well and score goals. I am a fast skater and have spent the last 2 years developing my strength so I can play physical as well.
I study hard and am a good student in the classroom. I maintained over a 3.3 GPA for middle school and will continue to do so (or better) into high school. Our school does community service regularly to help out people who are in need. I really enjoy seeing the positive impact our work has on the community.
I want to attend college so I can push myself to the limit of becoming the best I can, both academically and physically. I am a very determined person who likes to get things done and be thorough. I really want to make everyone proud of me and show them how far I have pushed myself and succeeded.
