I believe I have the drive and passion to further my hockey career in college in hopes of going pro. To be a great hockey player takes a lot of hard work and dedication, but also a great attitude. Over the years I have been able to learn a lot about what it's like to not only be a good hockey player through skill, but as a teammate. An athlete will always have to face adversities and stay determined to push through them. It's important to be there for your teammates during low moments to help them find that motivation again. Through experience I've learned that a team brings in more wins when they learn how to be cohesive with one another. I work hard on improving my skills to create better opportunities on the ice, and I also bring leadership to create a better environment for my team. Outside of pursuing hockey, I plan on majoring in Business. This degree will help me either open up my own business, or help me run the family business and make it something greater.
