I love hockey and it's my favorite sport to play and watch, I want to play even further beyond high school and go into college. I am always willing to work hard; I do a lot of practices on ice and off ice, going further as doing really morning practices at 5 am or just practicing hours and hours in my backyard working on shooting or stickhandling to work on my craft and concentrate on it until I perfect it. I also drive others and motivate them to work just as hard too, I love to bring my teammates up and challenge them. I am very competitive and do what it takes to win the game: whether that is sacrificing my body to block a shot or taking a hit to make a play. I believe I have the ability to play under fire where I can shut out the instances of people getting into my head or shut off a bad play I made and continue to still work and get something positive out of it. Another thing I do is that I watch a lot of NHL games and I study the philosophy of the game and the dynamics of it so it can increase my hockey IQ, so I can look for more open lanes and know the game better. Every shift I bring in a lot of intensity with hits and making smart plays and I try my hardest giving it 110% on the ice to hustle everywhere and backcheck and put a lot of pressure. Ensuring when I go back to bench I have no regrets and that I'm tired after every shift, then I go back out there and do it again. Again, I love hte game of hockey and is by far my favorite sport.
