Ronin Hofmaster '23 Recruiting Profile

Hi, Coaches. My name is Ronin Hofmaster and I attend Notre Dame of Batavia High School. I've been playing hockey competitively since the age of 5, and the difference between me and most other players my age is I always want to be on the ice 24/7. The players my age don't have the heart and desire I have towards the sport. I wake up and want to go to practice everyday and never skip. I work as hard as I possibly can and want the absolute best for my team. I believe I am a great leader and try to make the players around me better, without bringing them down. I have been a captain on my team multiple times in my young career, but the years I didn't have a "C" or "A" on my chest, did not mean I wasn't a leader on my team.  As far as my collegiate goals are concerned, I would love to be on a great team with desirable teammates that want to win. That's all I would really look for in a high level team: guys that are ready to work and want to succeed. Academics wise, I am excelling and want to continue to succeed in that aspect, and am working hard to achieve that goal. I would like to consider myself a two-way playmaker and I believe that the defensive side of the puck is obviously just as important as the offensive side. In conclusion, this is why I believe I am the perfect player for you!
