James Jensen '21 Recruiting Profile

My goals are not only to play hockey the next level, but also to create relationships with teammates, friends, and coaches that will last a lifetime. I would also like to get a degree so I have a plan of what I want to do after hockey is over. I believe that I am a very good teammate that can put the team on my back if they need me too. I'm a very loud and loose teammate, but when it comes to hitting the ice, I'm serious and ready to take on the challenge in front of me. The aspects that me me different from others is that I have a lot of skill and talent with such a big frame. I can put it in the net if i have a shot or I can take it wide, drive and go to the net unless I have the opportunity to set up my teammates. I know where to be on the ice when I don't have the puck, giving my team a chance to win every game. I'm a very vocal leader on and off the ice, and gel well with all my teammates and coaches. I go 150% every time I hit the ice and know what to do if I'm not on my game.
