I have been playing ice hockey since I was around 6 years old. From then to now I have been through a lot of ups and downs with my teams throughout the seasons which led to me wanting to keep playing and improving. I now want to play at college level while also earning a degree in a major I’m determined in. I am committed to pushing myself on and off the ice by balancing academics and athletics.
I believe that I’m a good overall player for defense or offence with my hockey IQ, skill sets with the puck, and speed. I also believe this because I’m not just focused on scoring goals, but I’m also focused on doing what the team needs to win, even if that’s blocking shots, winning battles in the corners, holding the puck in the corner till the buzzer, or encouraging my teammates. I am a coachable player and look to improve and add on to my play style no matter the amount of work I have to put in.
In school, I study hard and complete all my work in order to maintain a high GPA and to manage my time well in order to play hockey.
I want to attend a college where I can learn and improve on many things in the class and on the rink. I am open to a large variety and just want to find the right college for me with the highest competition level I can get into where I can contribute and improve. Overall, I want to become a great overall person to my friends, family, and teammates.
