Personal Statement

Playing competitive and high-level hockey is something I've always strived to do. Growing up on a third-generation cattle farm has truly enabled me to develop a strong work ethic and an understanding of what it means to get out what you put in. This is my mentality in everything I do off and on the ice. I put 110% into everything I do and it's paying off. Hockey is something that I am very passionate about. My parents and I have worked very hard to get me to this point in my hockey career, and I hope to continue my journey to competitive collegiate-level hockey in the near future.

Are you in honor classes?

Yes. I have taken advanced/honors classes since my 8th-grade year. In 8th grade, I took Algebra and Living Environment Science, which are usually classes taken in 9th grade. This has allowed me to get ahead and perform at a high level academically. In 9th grade, I took Geometry Honors, Earth Science Honors, and Global History 9 Honors. This year I am taking Algebra II (Trigonometry) Honors, Chemistry Honors, and Global History 10 Honors.
