Christopher Smith '26 Recruiting Profile

I started playing hockey when I was 5 years old. The first time I put goalie pads on I knew I wasn't coming out of the net. I've been a goalie since. This past season the team I was playing for made it to the New Jersey States and we won. This season unfortunately I was experiencing hip pain and was diagnosed with a double hip impingement. I had my surgery this September, 2024. I am exited to start my recovery journey and get back on the ice faster and stronger. I stayed on the ice with my team as long as possible. After I couldn’t play in goal anymore I came out with a helmet and gloves and came to their games. I supported my team for as long as I could and next season I will be back and better and ready to play.
