Gavin Phillips '22 Recruiting Profile

I am currently in 11th grade while attending Norwood Norfolk High out of NYS. Hockey has always been one of my biggest passions. I have played at many different levels, for many different teams, to pursue my goal  of a making it to the next level. I have recently decided to pursue a major of criminology when I attend college. Off the ice, I find myself to be a great friend and someone you can lean on for support.  I also believe I carry a good sense of leadership when completing tasks of the ice. On the ice, I find myself to be a very hard worker, pushing myself to contribute points as a goal-scorer. As I still continue to work on my on-ice skills every day, I think my greatest attributes are being able to see the ice well, and using my shot and speed to generate chances for my teammates. I am currently playing for my high school program, as I have started off strong by recording 8 points in 3 games.  I am also playing for the St. Lawrence Steel u18 organization, in which I will be attending the state tournament in April.
