Just briefly I'm not the typical hockey player. I haven't been playing since I was 6 and been skating since I was 4. My first time on the ice was when I was 12. I had my first hockey experiance was when I was 11. My buddy asked if I wanted to play on his roller hockey team in a 14u divison. I said sure. I started out as a forward, but then the goalie quit, because we were loosing every game 10-0. This was expected playing against 14 year olds at 11. I took over the goalie spot, because I'd always loved playing goalie in street hockey. Long story short I put the pads on and never took them off. We ended pulling the biggest up set I think ever in Roller hockey history in the playoffs. We won the championship. After that a few kids around the league asked if I'd play on their Ice team. I did and first year of ice hockey was house. The next year was AA tier 2. The next was tier 1 AAA and I haven't looked back.
