Alex Bitetto 2023...Personal Statement
There are many athletes in my family. My brothers and first cousins have played for division 1, club teams at division 1, and one is a professional NHL player. I have two older brothers that I have seen balance school work and athletics and I know I will be as successful as them. One is earning a Masters in Civil Engineering and the other a Degree in TV and Video Production. I have always taken pride in my work ethic both in athletics and in the classroom. You would never have to be concerned about my grades as I have always excelled in the classroom. Currently I am in the National Junior Honor Society, playing for the LI Royals Travel Bantam Major team, West Islip High School Varsity golf team, and West Islip High School Junior Varsity Hockey team. I have been recognized by coaches for my high ice hockey IQ and working hard every day to reach my goals. My collegiate goal is to play on a division 1 ice hockey team and receive a college degree.
