Nicholas Castiglione '26 Recruiting Profile

I know where I am suppose to be and I pride myself in helping my teammates each time I am on the ice.  I love to score goals but I am just as happy setting them up.  I am not afraid to go to the net, and score dirty goals.  I am currently a Junior at West Seneca West High School, taking Honors English,  AP US History, Advanced Forensics through Syracuse University and French 4.   I play 2nd line Left Wing for my travel AA hockey team, the Southowns Stars, and center the second line PP.  Last season, I also played Left Wing for my high school JV club team, which went on to become WNYHSCHL Jr. Varsity Champions. I hope to play at some capacity on the college level, especially club.   As an athlete, I  am currently focusing on my nutrition and working on adding weight and muscle to help me become a better player.  I am a member of the French National Honor Society,  Rho Kappa, the Social Studies Honor Society, National Honor Society and enrolled in the Life Science Academy and a peer mentor to this year's Freshman class.  I feel I can balance athletics with academics to be a well rounded and successful student and athlete.
