Personal Statement
I am athletic, a good student, quick learner and have an exceptional Hockey IQ.
I have been and continue to train with Mark Metzger, the Tactical Skating and Skill Development Coach for the Carolina Hurricanes. My goal is to capitalize on his tutelage to continue to grow my skill as much as possible to prepare me for my College experience.
My education is my first goal, and I recognize Hockey is more than just a sport. It brings education and experience that enriches our academic environment.

- HOCKEY IQ DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM. The main purpose of this camp it to teach players how to “think the game.” Becoming a better player is not always about having more skill but using your skills more effectively. This program will teach players how to becoming more effective player by thinking the game and recognizing situations. This program is designed like a class, with a progression of skills and concept building being directly applied to games. Practice will be high intensity and controlled scrimmages used frequently.
