Personal Statement

Throughout my hockey career I've developed my physical and cognitive skills and formed an inseparable bond with a sport I love.   From losing 17-1, to pressing a 5-goal comeback win in the third, I have discovered that hockey is not just a game of skill and teamwork, but a sport  built around character and determination.   I am a two-way forward with speed and intensity.  I like to score but will take the assist if my teammate has a better shooting option.

Outside of the rink, I am self-taught to play the piano and enjoy singing and drawing.  I am also learning to play guitar.  I also give back to my community by volunteering at a local feeding ministry and student coach with the CYAH Learn to Play program.
