Peyton Midgette '16 Recruiting Profile

I plan to attend college, play college hockey, and to become a pilot. I have lead my travel hockey team as Captain the last consecutive 3 years on and off the ice. I have either lead, or been second in points for every year I've played travel ice hockey. Having played hockey most of my life, my knowledge of the game is very strong. I have a very sound hockey "sense" and I am always aware of plays development on the ice. I am a team oriented individual, and I believe in putting the team before myself which is evident in my assists stats.  I was actively recruited to play Junior hockey at the age of 15, and even though we opted out, I was still called up to play 13 games with the Junior team that season. 

I have been homeschooled since the 5th grade to advance my academics and get ahead of most public school students. In my family, school comes before sports, so I have always taken school very seriously. It is my goal to find a good fit for both my education and my passion.
