I would love the opportunity to contribute to the success of your team. I can bring a high level of effort, determination, ethics, athleticism, coachability, teamwork, sacrifice, and leading positively by example to your team.

More than other recruits, I welcome correction and view coaching as an investment into my future. I have always taken hockey seriously since I was eight years old. When I started hockey, my favorite movie was Red Army. It highlights the 1980 Russian team that lost the Miracle game. I, like Slava Fetisov, want to skate as fluidly and agile backward, as others do forwards. I continually am sharpening my hockey sense. I enjoy the grind and the hard work it takes to achieve goals. I do not give up. I do not crumble after a poor call, a disadvantage, or adversity. I am resilient.

I do the little things, practice purposefully, and help make my teammates successful. When players are getting down, I work hard to turn it around.  I am quiet, but my play is fierce.  Mike Eruzione has said, "If you work hard, at some point, you will get a break." I work hard every day, because I know what it produces: opportunity. I have had to work very hard, academically to be on the honor roll and a member of the National Honor Society. I have had to work hard to compensate for shortcomings throughout the years. I have been the youngest on a team, the shortest on a team, the "nobody" on a team, and the random "outsider" on many teams. Being the underdog that doesn't quit is my specialty. It spurs others to do likewise.

My goal is to play hockey at the highest levels of my ability.  I look forward to the opportunity to play for your team.
