Daniel Trask '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello coaches my name is Daniel Trask,

I play hockey for the SISU Thunderbirds out of Columbus, Ohio. I also play rugby for the Columbus Crusaders out of Worthington, Ohio.  I have played Hockey for 10 years going into my 11th. year of play.  During those Years of play, I’ve played for multiple different teams a few of which I’ve been named captain on.  I have also helped out at multiple camps staying active in teaching and progressing hockey as well as improving my own play. I’ve done marching band in the past and am currently learning how to play the guitar on my own time. For rugby I have played 5 years going into my 6th year of play.  I have been named captain for my team and also been invited to the Midwest all stars or EIRA,  I also have been named captain over the city all star team or Racer Rugby. I have multiple different routes I could take for my career path yet haven’t decided on one yet. One of those options is physical therapy which I am interested in, another option is business which currently I lean towards the most, specifically entrepreneurial business. Other options I am interested in are the military, chiropractic care, sports medicine, and personal training.  My goal in my job is to be up and about but most importantly to still interact with athletes on a fairly regular basis.  I would be an excellent pick for your team because I am disciplined, hard working, respectful, and hold myself to a high standard of play, I am confident in my abilities yet know I have plenty to work to improve upon, I have had experience leading a team and can do it again if given the honor.  I am well built and strong and not afraid of taking hits and punishment, I have grit,  I am willing to do what it takes to earn a spot on your team and am willing to do whatever it takes to get to the next level of play.
